HVA and the Berkshire Environmental Action Team (BEAT) are looking for
volunteers to survey stream crossings along the  Housatonic River and
streams feeding into it in the Berkshire area of the Housatonic watershed.

Aquatic invasives!
Zebra mussels were found in Laurel Lake in Lee, Massachusetts. Didymo (rock snot) is also in the area.

HOT TOPIC: The updated Litchfield Hills Regional Plan of Conservation Development has been posted for public review and comment (SEE PLAN). HVA and the Litchfield Hills Greenprint worked with the Litchfield Hills Council of Elected Officials to provide maps and regional conservation data for the plan, including low impact development recommendations.
