Become a Member

Members are the sustaining heart of HVA.
Your generous support keeps rivers healthy,
drinking water clean and protects precious natural places.
Thank you.

The Housatonic Valley Association is a non-profit organization.
Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

What does my membership in HVA pay for?

Staff and volunteers work daily on a broad spectrum of water and land related projects; educate students, state and local officials and private agencies, and partner with dozens of conservation groups. We spend more than 80 cents of every membership dollar on programs to conserve the natural resources of the Housatonic watershed.

What do I get in addition to cleaner water and better education?

Member benefits include supporter decals, annual reports, eCURRENT newsletters, listing in the annual donor report, and invitations to paddle trips, volunteer work parties and our gala celebrity auction. Ultimately you get the satisfaction of knowing you have joined thousands of like-minded citizens in doing the right things to protect the environment.

How much does it cost to join HVA?

Basic memberships range from $35 a year up to leadership giving society levels of $5,000+. A donation of any size entitles you to membership in HVA.
